Is Tori still getting a book? This is the number one question you, my wonderful readers, have been asking me. The happy answer is – yes! Tori is still getting her book. No worries.
I know I’ve sort of fallen off the map this year. I’m so sorry for that, and unfortunately, there’s a sad reason for it. My dad passed away not long ago. If you’ve read my previous blog post, you know he had dementia. (Lewy Body Dementia, for those of you who might be familiar with the disease.) I’ve never lost anyone so close to me. To be honest, I’d never even been to a funeral before. As a result, this whole thing has hit me like a ton of bricks. I’m lucky to have a supportive family, but they’ve been grieving too.
I was hesitant to share this with everyone since it’s so personal. I changed my mind though. So many of you have been asking about Tori’s book, and I know you’re looking forward to reading it. I hated the idea of leaving you hanging or wondering what was going on.
Despite everything, I am still writing. Object of my Addiction will, hopefully, be ready by the end of the year, though it won’t be published until next year. I’ve also been working on a new series called Truth Harbor that I plan to release next year as well. It takes place in a small harbor town north of Seattle and is my usual steamy romantic comedy. It’s a loose spin-off from the current series as Lindsay’s ex-husband will be one of the heroes. (Josh – the rock singer who wrote “Queen of Hearts.” You might remember him mentioned in Some Like it Hotter.)
Thank you so much for reading my books and for all the kind words about them. I can’t tell you how inspiring it is, especially lately. I really appreciate it. I hope all of you are having a wonderful summer!
